The story
- The Essence of Acid is built around Roland Boutique Series hardware recreations of the TB-303, TR-808 and TR-909, with van Dyk performing unreleased material and live reworks of his catalogue in real time.
- The stage design incorporates circuitry and waveform imagery, with lighting, screens and lasers synchronized to the music rather than running independently.
- Van Dyk performed at the first Dreamstate SoCal in 2015 and will launch a full world tour from this debut performance.Reported by EDMTunes and We Rave You
